Carissa's ex-husband, Emma's daddy, has a major blockage of the main artery of the heart, the widow maker, and will be going in for an angiogram on Thursday. We would appreciate your prayers.

Emma is five and I don't think she really understands what is going on, but knows sometimes her daddy doesn't feel good. But they are close. He also has a son living in Oregon who is in his early 20s.

Hi, Becky--I started out in Ohio and moved to South Carolina when I was 15--back to Indiana when I was 18 to go to college, get married, teach school, have a baby, before coming back to the Carolinas to put down roots and stay for the rest of my life. Though the West Coast has some beautiful scenery and wonderful people--I've been East, and I've been West, and for me, East is best! I do love California and Oregon's coastlines, but I'm happy living in the Southeast. (and you can walk barefoot on the beach!)
