As the process continues to get our first book ready, it's time to get the ball rolling for Book 2, Classically Inspired.
This book will be based around the winning entries from the July to September quarter in 2011 (all the Classic book titles).
And these are the authors I'll be contacting in the next few weeks:
Anita Vander Elst
Cheryl von Drehle
Verna Cole Mitchell
If you are on the list, please make sure your contact details are up to date in your FaithWriters account.
I did a literal double take when I saw my name! (I think I pulled a neck muscle.)
I'm just looking ... but I really appreciate how you alphabetize by first name! I do that all the time at my job and in my weight loss club! Seems to make more sense to do it that way. Good to know I'm not the only one!
Sorry about the whiplash there, Cat.
Barb, it's just the way they come up on the sort in Excel.
All systems are good here, Deb.
When Jesus said, "It is Finished!" what He really said was, "PAID IN FULL!"
"History is not for the meek in heart."
As I read the names of the authors, my initial response was, how did I get to be listed among such awesome writers?

I write even when I think I can't, because I must.
I love to write. Nothing escapes the crush I have on the written word. I'm hooked on words!!
"Let words bewitch you. Scrutinze them, mull them, savor them, and in combination, until you see their subtle differences and the ways they tint each other." Francis Flaherty
Oh Wow! I'm finally going to have one of my stories in a FW Anthology!
I hope you're going to go back to the years you missed printing them.
I have more all the way back to 2007.
Definitely Yvonne. The plan is to juggle the books around so that a wider group of people will get a chance to be published sooner (old members and newer ones).
Exciting news - looking forward to seeing the anthology and revisiting the great articles and their authors.
Deb, I'm still having receiving e-mails from the main board. Please let me know if you're not hearing a reply back from me. The e-mail in my account section is the correct one.
"And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything." From "As You Like It." Wm. Shakespeare.

So glad to know you got my release. I did not know how long it would take to get from Oklahoma to the land down under! Thanks!
I don't know what my future holds... but I know WHO holds my future...and "I'm persuaded that HE is able to keep that which I've committed unto HIM against that day".
OH! Sorry, my old email got spammed out a while back and I forgot to update my info on here. Thanks for spreading the word on FB or I would have missed this! Updating my account now!
The pages are still blank, but there is a miraculous feeling of the words being there, written in invisible ink and clamoring to become visible. ~Vladimir Nabakov
