A smile...and perspective...while we wait.

Postby CatLin » Thu Sep 27, 2012 10:06 pm

I was reading the FAQ's for a contest, and this one made made chuckle and think of the FW books.
Biding my time, knowing....

:D

"What if no winner is chosen?

One will be, without a doubt. It could be tomorrow. It could be in six months. It could be in six years, although it is doubtful that it will take that long, but one never knows. Perfection can take an eternity."

:typing2

On the "perspective while we wait" part, I'm feeling so lousy (trying to think if it's angina, gastric,or stenotic pain), I decided to write my will. May it be known here, :D I leave all copies of Faithwriter Books that contain any of my published articles to my grandchildren, should I not be around to receive them.

Sonething else to consider: I noticed Deb had some difficulty obtaining consents to publish from some members who may have been no longer active. Perhaps there should be something that could be kept on file like an Author's Proxy just in case an author has joined a celestial writer's group.

:sorry I don't mean to be morbid, just practical.

I write even when I think I can't, because I must. :-)

I love to write. Nothing escapes the crush I have on the written word. I'm hooked on words!!

Lillian, I don't find thinking ahead morbid at all - I think it's responsible. And the idea of a "proxy" or FW power of attorney is intriguing! My husband told me one time that I needed to give him this web addresses, log in and password, so that in case something happened to me he could let y'all know.

Okay, Caitlin, :thumbs

Your words have encouraged me to suggest the proxy idea on another thread. Your husband got it right, and I wasn't a fly on the wall. :D I also left the same instructions to my family about Faithwriters should something happen.

Blessings,

Lillian
