Good morning all,
I've been "tied to the computer" working on the book I'm publishing and missed all the news this week.
Joanney, I'm sorry I missed your birthday. I'm afraid it didn't turn out to be as special a day as you needed and deserved. May I suggest you pick another day when you are all well and you and the boys celebrate together your birthday then. I think it would be a good idea for the boys to make you a card to celebrate. (You can tell them I said so!) Even though they can't, at this point, afford to pay to make you special, a home-made card costs nothing. (That's training, too!) I'm sorry for your husband's attitude. You are much loved by God and your friends on the porch and others who recognize how dear you are. May this year hold many blessings for you.
Carol, I'm glad your home safe and your husband has a diagnosis. It has been my experience that it's the kids who make the grownups sick, rather than the reverse. I hope you don't get it, too.
Don, your falls concern me. (not that they don't you!) I used to fall far more often than I liked,
but since I've been doing balance exercises on the wiifit, I've been much steadier. You might need to get you one of those. That way you can exercise in the privacy of your home and have some fun doing it. My favorite of the activities is to dodge the soccer balls. I agree with and share your reasons for going to church.
Edy, I got a big smile out of you and your husband getting "spruced up" for the wedding. My sister says a pedicure is wonderful pampering, but I've never tried it.
Mariane, I'm sorry about your computer lemon, but you definitely are a peach!
Sending a hug to all.
