Christine it may have something to do with not being able to see your lovely face- out of sight, out of mind

Today, our third great grandchild was born (a great grandson); we are now a tribe of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and counting!

Kara, we have seen Christine's lovely face in here, on her old post photo. Have you seen Writetrack's new photo - stunning - and Deb's.

Pup, mate! - we're surrounded by a host of lovely ladies!

Ta da! Yah yah yah yah yah!!!!! Our very own Valerie Adams is a gold medalist, as we always knew she was!!!!! I would love to be a fly on the wall when the NZOC stands before our Prime Minister. I love Valerie. Always have. She's a one-in-a-million person, bigger than her sport.

Yes Di, I think Gill is an excellent cook and feeds me a good balanced diet as well, and people take me for years younger than I am because she's looked after me so well.

She's a brilliant wife and attractive as well, and she's much too good for me - I marvel that the Lord gave me such a wonderful wife that I don't deserve - but she seems happy enough.

And yes, if you are passing by, call in and enjoy her cooking.

Just read some accounts of Adams' experiences at London 2012. Wow. Sounds very dramatic and tense, but I'm so glad she was awarded the gold! Shot put is such a rocking event. It gave those non-gymnastics, non-sprinter girls (um, er, like me) something to reach for in high school track & field :D

Colin, which part of the UK are you camped in? Our family loves to visit, but we plan to hang around in Scotland for the most part, visiting family near Glasgow and Perth. Next trip coming up in spring 2013, Lord willing.

Di

Neil Armstrong, one of America's greats has died. We have mentioned him a lot in our marriage course, when we get to the section on 'Good Sex'.

Apparently, when he stepped on the moon one of the things he said was, "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky."
He later revealed after Mr. Gorsky's death that has a boy he and his brother had been playing ball and the ball went over the the Gorsky's fence. When he crept up under the window where it had landed he heard Mr Gorsky say: "Sex, we'll have sex when that kid next door walks on the moon!"

To you Americans: is this a story true?
