Filling the Gaps in Simple Pleasures

I'd really hoped to have the time during our Challenge off-season to run some mini-Challenges for the topics that will need new articles for our Simple Pleasures book, but as I'm still tracking down authors, that option just hasn't been possible.

So, instead, I'll be contacting some of our regular Challengeers to contribute an article on a specific topic from that theme as a space becomes available. To do it any other way now would add a long delay to the process.

At the moment, I'm down to just a handful of authors I'm trying to reach. If I can't get through to them this way, I will probably go for mail or telephone as the next option. Basically, I just want everyone to have the chance to say yay or nay. If they don't wish to be published in this way, I'm fine with that. I just need to know.

Anyway, stay tuned to hear about our gap-fillers.

GAP-FILLER NO. 2: SHIRLEY McCLAY

With another member unable to be contacted (after numerous attempts and investigative work), I've had to concede defeat and invite another member to take that author's place. Shirley has very kindly agreed to be a gap-filler for the Simple Pleasures book, writing something to fill the topic of Reading.
