This is an updated list of the authors we still need releases from. Some I have heard from, but if you see your name here and you haven't received an email from me, please let me know. Or if I haven't indicated I've heard from them, and you know them, please contact them for us. (Thank you Beth LaBuff for contacting Elizabeth Baize!)

Thanks ladies. The more spreading the word, the better.

A lot of the time, it's not that their email addresses have changed. It's just that my emails are probably going straight to junk (or being blocked before they even get there). Email is such a pain.

We're getting there. I'll be announcing Book 2 in the next week or so (just want to get most of the authors settled with this one first).

Yes, I hope I can track Joanne down as well. The email is definitely not getting through.

The one good thing is that I do have ways of finding most people (what would we do without the internet?). Even so, member to member help has worked the best so far.

Next step will be phone calls and snail mail (where possible). I already managed to catch one via snail mail. In the meantime, I'll be getting all the other articles ready for approval with the authors. So if you have signed my release for this book, keep an eye on your email.

Okay, I Googled the problem and I guess from now on I'll have to use IE7 to access my hotmail account instead of Firefox. Something about the file storage and compatibility. I could not find any recent emails from you, though. Could you resend, please?

Sigh ... another author found my email in her spam box after I made contact with her eventually on Facebook. Email is sooooo hard these days.

Having said that, I'm just so thankful there are ways to find most of the people.

Tracking down the final authors is taking all my Googling/Detective skills available.

I found Erin today and that what such a joy! One out of seven isn't bad. I think I can find the rest, but it's probably going to mean letters the old fashioned way. That drags things out a little longer, unfortunately, but it can't be helped.

We're getting there.

Hey - Deb. Just a thought. Would it be faster (for the US folks, anyway) to email me (or Mike or Bea or Lynda or someone like that) and have US send it? Just so the snail mail doesn't have to cross the ocean? I'm willing. Just a thought

Had thought of asking Jan to do that, but I've got the letters all prepared, so I'll just send them today. They should get them by the end of the week (start of next week). Hopefully.

There are actually only three letters I'm sending out today. The other three are people I'm still hopeful will respond via other contacts online.

If there's no response by email by the due date on these letters, then we have to move on without them.
