I don't blame you for not liking to play the waiting game . . . It's no fun and something that only adds to the stress of not feeling good.
When we moved into this house I was carrying box after box upstairs and downstairs . . . when suddenly I had a pain that threw me to the ground. I went to my doctor who thought I had strained my back. He sent me to physical therapy and I endured three shots of . . . whatever . . . into my lower back. After nine months of suffering and begging him to do an MRI I finally got the results that I had been looking for. It wasn't a strained back, or a bulging disc . . . A portion of the disc actually broke off and was sitting on my sciatic nerve. My neurosurgeon told me because we waited so long to get the MRI and t o get surgery I would have permenate nerve damage . . . And so the story goes.
That waiting was worse (at times)than the pain was.
I hope your wait isn't too painful and that you stay upbeat. I know how depressing it is . . .so remember to keep looking up!
