Hi guys, I've been doing pretty well at using my computer time for mostly just writing and editing stuff, so I'm proud to have been wasting less time. But this thread isn't a waste--it's a friendship builder--so I'll try to pop in more often.
I have my booklet on show vs. tell pretty much done. Just one more page or so and then going back to fix up some of the worksheet pages. Shann is helping me come up with bad example sentences. It's harder than one would think! hehe
I got one of my PeP illustrators to do a front cover for the book. It looks really cool. I want to tweek a couple more things but then I'll post it here. I'm doing, "Bring Your Writing to Life" for the title but I can't decide on the subtitle. "show; don't tell" seems informal but I think it's important to include since that's what it's a bout and since that's a topic a lot of people struggle with. Which do you like best for the sub-title?

Thanks for the congrats on my challenge. That's a story I've had in my head for ages but was nervous to write because of the topic and I wasn't sure the allegory would work... and I didn't want it to be disrespectful to people who are in domestic violence situations.
Kate, praying your presentation goes well.
Kara, glad you're in this part of the world safely. Still wish I could see you but right now even ten minutes drives can put me in quite a bit of pain.
Tiara, glad to see you here and excited about writing again. What is floristary? Is that learning about what a florist does? Cool your research is going well.
Hi, everyone else!

I better get to bed. I've been being bad at staying up most of the night to work on writing stuff. Then I sleep half the day, but tomorrow I have to work so will need to get up at 10 and the house will probably be noisy well before that since people have places to go this morning.
