Well hello there Tiara

Beautiful story Shann. I have experienced similar experiences, going somewhere with the intent to minister to people and then instead being the one ministered to. I think its a cool way God humbles us, but also shows us his power.

hmm so you think I can write and submit an entry in 10 minutes?

Why not I do it all the time! Well maybe a bit more than 10 sometimes in under an hour. In fact last week I tried my last minute and because of a computer problem I couldn't submit it. You think that would have motivated me to write sooner this week huh? Nope I got my level 3 Out of the Dump done with about 40 minutes to spare!

Hi Tiara nice to see you pop in What's new?

Kate I can relate to injured digits well mine is more my foot. I broke a casserole dish and sliced my foot up pretty bad. Should I be nervous that Phin (dog) went nuts trying to lap up the puddle of blood on the floor? Then I was in bed and he started gnawing on it (well licking really but he was thinking gnaw!) Then today way over on the other side of the kitchen I stepped on another piece and cut my other foot.

Man is the weather messed up here. Last week we had snow and today sweat is pouring off me in the 85 degree heat.

Pup you better never drop out or we will post Missing Pup signs with your Pic plastered all over the world.

AND KitKat hurt herself?

Pup, sorry it is raining while you are moving, not nice. :x

Shann, not good cuts on one foot never mind both feet. Mind how you go, as they say in England.

My hand is okay today and I slept very well last night so I am ahead of the game. We had breakfast outside this morning it is gorgeous. I caught some sun on my face for a bit of color, wonderful. I have been naughty and not entered the challenge at all yet. My writing is going nowhere fast and enough said.

Sometimes it's nice to lose internet connection, it makes me write, giving me no excuses. Mine was out for 2 hours.

Yay, Little Bird sent Reaching Sky to her editor for final proof read and edit! (thought Pup and non-facebookers would like to know)

Kate, how's the cut?

He used to write a lot of the old Doctor Who episodes, so it is a sort of sci fi, so if you're not really a fan of that..but it really is a fun read.

He wrote three, and one of them, "Shada" was never televised. He did do a some of the background works for the screen-writing to script though, as well as a few of the old dime-store paperbacks that never made it to the show. I heard he also did some of the audio programs for the rodio show. I loved the Guide, it was way cool. The books were much better than the old BBC television show, which, by the way, was waaaay far better than the later movie.

Well the move is ummm.. moving right along. I am down to the bedroom left to go, and I ain't touching that 'til they have my internet hooked up at the other place. Should be sometime later this week. For now... I am tarred and gonna lay down before someone feathers me.

Hey Pup now that you're moving you can bring the kitty home from work! I may have missed this those couple of weeks when I spent much of my time in bed but why are you moving? Is it far?

Jay good to see you on the board, at least here you can't beat me at Scrabble! Is Amy's tourney still on and are you and Becky still in the game? I can get tons of Bingos and still lose because I can't ever place them right/

Hi to everyone. It's a beautiful evening here and I've gone on some nice walks to check out the birds down the way a bit. I wish Tim, Barb, or Shelley would come over with their great photography skills so I could actually see them up close and figure out what type of birds they are.

Have a nice night all. It's almost my bedtime!

So excited for you Amy and all that you are accomplishing. Pup, great job on the move and wise to wait for Internet. Somehow I have never got around to reading Hitchhiker's if it falls into my lap, I might. I live with Brit humor and Dr. Harriot so I get daily doses. My cut is open to the air and healing but doesn't like being bumped or banged. I don't like it either. We had serious rain in the early evening yesterday and clouds today but much needed. We had a wee fire this morning the first in days and days.
I have bunches and bunches of books and not on the Internet much at all now. Read Irina Ratushinskaya's book on her experiences in Soviet prison. Our friend Santa's grandfather's cousin was pictured and mentioned in the book. Really brings it home.
Blessings, Kathleen

I don't think so. I am only moving 200+ feet to another apartment in the same complex.

And I am moving because the landlord wont let ME fix the place I am in, and the roof Still leaks sense he fixed it. And yes I mean that. it didn't leak before, though it was so bad the old roof blew off in a storm. Then he "fixed it" and put on a metal roof. Apparently he didn't seal it right before the metal sheeting went on and now... it leaks.

The whole place need a LOT of work on it, and he can't do it while I am living there, SOOOOOOoooo, he is moving me to another apartment that he just finished remodeling. Well at least this one LOOKS ok. It is part of a duplex, but my neighbor is a "quiet old woman" that lives alone... or so he says. I just hope she is not hard of hearing and plays the TV real loud to watych soaps in the day time.

It would be ok with me if she has a single daughter visit now and then, though.

Ah yes that makes sense. I had just read that he wrote for Doctor Who, not much more than that. I should have know you would have all the details

I actually really like the most recent movie. I know its quite a bit different than the books, but I thought it was cute. Aiden watched it and was cracking up. Plus how can you go wrong with a movie that has Alan Rickman and Zooey Deschanel?

So far I don't. The Net wont be on for another Two weeks, and I have to be out of this place by next Tuesday. I will be a whole week with no internet. I can come to the Boards from work, but I love looking through the music and movie sites as well. Besides after a week, my Email will have at least 50 pages of Spam to delete.
