I must have enough English influence cause I knew what you meant Kate. My best friend is from London, we were together all the time so I guess she rubbed off on me a lot cause when I went back to the states for a visit everyone kept asking if I was from England, or thought that I talked weird. I didn't even realize that I had picked up new words and phrases.

It was during my smoking days, so I even got in the habit of calling cigarettes "fags". People in the states look at you weird if you tell them you're going out for a fag.

Kara, when I was living in England and would visit back in Portland my friends were disappointed I didn't have an English accent but they would tell me I talked "weird." I know what you are saying. So glad for the understanding.

Debating colors again, come on folks! At least I figured out what the pink pencil was that you were talking about.

I learned a new diff for "fag" - cigarettes. "fags" are also short for faggots, meaning a pile or bundle of sticks.

Hey guys just popping in quick to say hi and let you know I'm still alive. I haven't had the chance to read the posts but maybe tomorrow I'll be up to it. I've been hurting a lot lately and have been inundated with outbreaks and pain and weakness in my shoulder. To top it all off now I have pink eye. Sorry don't mean to whine but didn't want you to think I wasn't thinking about you all. I've been spending a lot of time in bed. Hopefully things will be better soon. I love ya alls and missed you!

Sorry just read the posts at the top of the page and can't believe you guys are still arguing about pencil colors! you were doing that 2 weeks ago. And that's why I love you -- when I get lonely and miss the time when my kids were little I just have to come here and then I appreciate the maturity in them! :D

You need to ask Barb to make one for you like she did for me but of course mine is purple! I know I'm starting to feel a tad better cuz today I searched until I found matching purple undies. That tells you how sick I've been
