Thanks, Edy. You always seem to know about these things. I bought sea salt last time, but I've wondered about that, too, if it's really better or not. I think regular is cheaper, so I think I'll get that next time and also just take in the dextrose so I'm getting the iodine. Food shouldn't be so complicated! ;)

Laurie, here is a link to an article on Mayo Clinic's website about Sea Salt vs. iodized salt.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sea-salt/AN01142
It basically says they have the same nutritional value except that Sea Salt has traces of minerals (differing based on the water it came from) and no iodine.

Thanks, Joanney. I hope you're having a nice weekend. :)

Mariane, I got a kick out of those headlines.

Web stats continue to go up - nearly 4500 visits for the month of March. :) Those numbers represent real people.

I haven't seen an update about Jess on Facebook for a while, but saw this on her wall today.

Jess looks great. Should leave icu early next week. Still a long journey and one we must complete. Praise Jesus. Keep praying.

Salt--what I know--too salty isn't good and neither is no salt. Now that I've exhausted my information. . .
I love the headlines, Mariane! and you!

How can I say thanks? Your prayers got me through a difficult busy week and allowed us to spend time with family. We are home at last! I feel like I could sleep for a week. I'll check in later but want to get a quick bite to eat and head to bed.

I've been thinking. Contrary to popular belief, I do that once in a while.

In days long gone by, three or four guys would often visit the porch. Some even had a chair with their name on it. Now, they have gone away to who knows where. Why did they all leave? Was it because the porch was overly populated by women? Maybe the guys just couldn't deal with that, and bailed out.

Now, I'm the only guy on the porch. There are no other guys around here to help fix the broken hinges on the screen door and take out the garbage.

Maybe the female porch residents are asking, "We finally got rid of those other guys. Why is that one still hanging around here?" :?

Don, if we got rid of you, who would fix the hinges on the screen door and do our other maintenance? :bow :bow

So....finally an admission that you all "got rid of" the other guys.

Oh, what will I do? My maintenance license has expired and is non-renewable.

Never fear, Don. It's so nice to have a man around the porch - whether he is handy with a toolbox or not. We appreciate you, even if you're only serving as "window dressing!" Then, again, perhaps you are a spy, looking for clues to what makes women tick (are you writing a book, an expose, perhaps?). Here's a hint, from Sheriff Andy Taylor to Deputy Barney Fife (as I recall): "We aren't supposed to understand women, we're just supposed to appreciate them!"

Dear GreenLeaves - your presence here is thanks enough. We're just so glad you could make the trip and can now relax and rest. Sweet dreams!

Kick off your shoes, refill your ice tea glass, turn up your sounds, lean back in your computer chair and click on this link. If this doesn't relax, refresh, replenish, reassure, restore and rejuvenate you, you're in need of something besides Geritol !!

Have any of you ever heard Pastor J.D. from Calvary Chapel in Hawaii? Each Sunday he does a 30 minute prophecy update segment during his weekly church service. I have heard several of them. They are terrific...and "right on" according to Scripture.

Pastor J.D. is an Arab who became a Bible believing Christian many years ago. He has an amazing gift for taking the events of today and relating them to the soon return of our Lord. Please listen to his latest update if you have any interest in prophecy. I look forward to hearing each new one.
