Oh dang! I just found this list and realized we only have one challenge left before we have to take a break. What will I do with myself when I can't sleep now!

LOL. Well, you've still got the Current Affairs Challenge to enter (if you haven't already), and then the final one next week. Then you've got time to do lots of reading and feedback leaving.

We'll try and run a couple of mini-Challenges as well, to keep you from getting twitchy during the break.

It will be a good time to work on some of my stories that I've been wanting to do a re-write on. There are several that are needing it.

We have broken the 100 mark for contestants on the challenge a few weeks lately. If you have been thinking about entering I encourage you to go for it. It is a great experience that will lead to your growth as a writer. This is the place to step out and take a risk with your writing and there is no better time than now. You are welcome here.

I submitted an entry to last week's challenge (Questions), or at least I thought I did. I did not see it among the list of entered pieces. Perhaps I missed the deadline or did not hit the submit button like I thought I did . . . I am only a few weeks old on this site and learning the ropes. So please be patient with my questions about "Questions."

Carpenter's Daughter, a few questions for you:

What level did you enter? What was the title of your entry?

What time did you submit your entry?

Did you get a pop-up box that said "Thank You! Your entry has been submitted!"

Unfortunately, once the topic has switched to the next one, there's no way to squeeze in an entry that didn't make it in, for whatever reason. It may be that you inadvertently forgot to hit 'submit', or that you were just a tad late, or that some sort of glitch occurred on the site itself.

For next week, if you want to verify that your entry made it in, feel free to email me once you've submitted it (if it's not in the very last few minutes of the contest). I'll gladly check to be sure that your entry is in. My email is jan_ackerson at yahoo dot com.
