This is another update from Jess' mom with a new prayer request.

Thank you for your fervent prayers that have lifted up Jess Capps. She has had a great week, and continues to improve. We ask for a special request this weekend: If you would please pray specifically for healing in Jess's left foot. The vascular surgeon has determined that he needs to remove some of her toes, but we are asking God to bring life back to those toes. Let us petition to God our concerns, and ask for His favor in our request that the doctors do not need to perform this surgery

Hello all!

It's been on my heart for awhile now to have a prayer chat for Jess. I talked with Amy and a couple of others, and we decided to have it this Sunday afternoon/evening (for those in the US.) I realize this is short notice, but I wanted to do this before Monday. (see the latest update in her prayer request thread for details)

Details:
When? 4:00 PM Pacific, 5:00 PM Mountain, 6:00 PM Central, and 7:00 PM Eastern. For those in Australia, it should be mid-morning on Monday morning for you, if I am calculating things correction. I think it would be about 10 AM in Sydney. (I realize some of you may have evening church services, and it may conflict with dinner, but I hope some of you can still attend.)

I've made a "private" chat room, so only those who know the address can get in. I think I will probably post it on her mom's FB page also. :)

All you have to do is click that link when it's time. If you can't make it to the chat, if you would still be praying for her around that time. Or any time! :D

Let's come together to bring our sister in Christ before the throne of the Almighty!

How is Jess doing now? Has life returned to the toes the doctor thought he would have to remove?

Jess's mom said that they were waiting on the toes, so keep on praying for life to show up in them.

This is a post from Jess herself on facebook yesterday.

Not yet, Deejay. As far as I know that is still a potential concern, HOWEVER, I am hoping that the fact that they have removed the trache (They were going to keep that in until "all procedures are complete", per her mom) and that they are evaluating her for rehab is a good sign.

Hate to be the one bursting the bubble but don't let up on the prayers folks. This is the latest from Jess's dad this morning:

Please say a special prayer for Jess today. She had a rough night. Chest x-ray shows some fluid in her lungs. She will be transferred back to ICU so that she will have one on one nursing care. Drs will also tweak her meds and do an echo.

God is still on the throne, people, and nothing can get Him off of it! I've been posting prayer requests for Jesse on the prayer board at my church, and yesterday posted an update. This didn't take God by surprise; He has Jesse firmly in the palm of His hand, and He's not going to drop her. We need to redouble our prayers, because the enemy's mad at all the success so far, and we can't let him win!

here is the latest on Jess from her mom

Jess is having test/biopsy done on her lungs. Her breathing is a little worse than this morning so doctors put her on a breathing tube. She will be sedated for this test. The doctors think she may have an acute lung infection but need to wait on the test results. Praying for complete healing and Praising Him for answered prayers.

Praying for a miracle. If God wills, He can deliver from death's grip.

Dear Jesus, please don't let the gift of a heart be in vain. Put Your healing hand on Jess right now and make her whole. Give her many healthy, happy years with her cowboy.

Satan, I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus. Take your hand off of Jess right now, and I command you and your demons to flee in the Name of Jesus. The Blood of Christ has defeated you; you lost at Calvary.
Father, I ask in Jesus' Name that Jess be restored to perfect health in Jesus' mighty Name. Amen.
