Update from a family friend of Jess Capps: Praise the Lord for the sweet reminders that He is in control. Jess responded to her mom's voice when she said 'God is in control' by nodding her head! Praise you Jesus! Her heart is still be assisted by external pumps & she's on a ventilator. Still critical but every hour that passes is one step closer to recovery. Please share with anyone you'd like

Just got an update from Jess and my father:
Jess is improving. Still on ventilator and external lvad and rvad (heart assist pumps). Late today or tomorrow the doctors will slow the pumps down. Join us in prayer that the heart will come out of shock and take over

Update from Jess's mom~Tammy Godwin: CONTINUED PRAYERS ARE REQUESTED!!! The Doctors tried to taper Jess Capps off of the external pumps..and the left side of her heart was pumping slowly so they will try again tomorrow. However, her kidneys are working on their own w/o assistance!!! Let's give GOD the glory for HIS marvelous favor!!!

Jess is stable and improving. Big day today as we pray that jess can come off the heart assist pumps and her new heart take the load.
