I just saw on FB that our dear sister Jess is having her heart transplant surgery TODAY! She'd been on the waiting list for three months. She is only 30.

Please keep her, her husband, their families, the surgical team, and the donor family in your prayers.

I haven't seen Jess on here in ages! If I recall, she got married, then after while dropped from site. I remember how excited she was to marry her cowboy!

She's been really busy and dealing with the health issues and stuff. They did get married.

She posts on FB more often (I gave the link to her page at the top).
I didn't see any updates on her page yet.

Her husband called me a few minutes ago and said the new heart is weak and not working. Please pray that it will start working and pray for Jess and her family in the mean time.

When my mom had her kidney transplant they told us some organs will go into shock and not work right away, but will start working later after they recover. I pray that's what's happening here and that the new heart will start working.

Hello all. This is Jess's sister signing in, and I am here to give an update.

She is still extremely critical, but the bleeding has slightly improved. Soon the doctors will start to slowly wake her up and see how her body reacts to a somewhat conscious mind (since that adds stress to the body).

Please keep praying. She really needs a miracle right now.
