I've noticed over the last few days that a lot of people are publicly posting their e-mail addresses.
When you do, you open yourself up to spam bots finding it and adding it to their list for spam.
Be sure to post it with the word at instead of the @ symbol, so the spam bots don't see it, or PM it to whoever you're giving it to.

Thank you for that Red Barron--I was clueless -though grateful-as to what you had helped me with (by mt posting an e address publically) until I found this explanation. Seems I was stomping where angels fear to tread.
I still like the 'hunt like a spider'. I check it out each time I see your post. Regards, P.

The "hunt like a spider" is a quote from Cori, one of our wonderful members here, during her workshop at the FaithWriters' conference. It's kind of a reminder to me on how to keep going and looking for writing work
