Real Writing Jobs.com

Postby M0ofi3 » Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:18 pm

I want to let everyone know that Real Writing Jobs.com is advertising on Faithwriters. I did a little investigating and have found some unfavorable information regarding this venture.

Please look for your self

BBB Report:
http://www.vegasbbb.org/rptrel.asp?bbbid=81821

Plus if you do a search on the business there is a lot of information that indicates that while they are not a scam they are not fully forthcoming on what to expect. There is a 7-day trial offer of $4.95 after which they charge $77 a month for their services, which is basically a convenience where they can find legitimate jobs for interested writers. Much of what they find for anyone can be found without their service, so why pay so much? It would be advisable to look at what the Better Business Bureau has on them-very suspect on the business' part.

Please be wary...

Yeah, pretty much any service that wants you to pay to find work for you is best to avoid.

Yep...

My thoughts exactly. I almost want to write to the business and tell them I have alerted the members at Faithwriters.

Thanks,
B

Thanks B. I had some concerns when I saw the ads. FaithWriters probably need to know.

(I've just sent an email to Scott with a link to this and to a discussion I found about this on another website--one of many.)

I wanted to believe they were a good source but wisdom said I should check on them.

I'm glad you're contacting Scott on this. It may put Faithwriters in a bad light by association.

Exactly--and could be damaging to some of our members, which is even more important.

what's the old saying? "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."
I was only noticing that advert this morning. Well done Bob, for alerting us.
