I've just joined this lovely forum, and I was just 'led' here to your post. It brought tears to my eyes, as I have a little girl who is 4, and praise God she is healthy! I love the Psalms and find much comfort, stength and guidance from them, as with the entire Bible LOL. I'm an aussie too and I've just noticed that you are from Qld - I'm from NSW!
