Does anyone have an example of what a synopsis would look like for the Page Turner? Are we talking a basic overview, or a chapter by chapter format?
I know time is a-wastin' to enter. I want to, but I haven't even started yet. Realistically, should I just hang it up for this year? I could probably write one chapter in time, but others spend all year on this, yes?
What do you think? Go for it anyway, or wait for the next one?

Synopsis
Kristi,
Go for it. If you have an idea, jump in and do it. I started my first chapter
last week, and I still have a few pages left.
I know the conventional wisdom is to start out with an outline (synopsis),
but I'm leaving that for last. If I recall, from an answer I got from Debi,
she mentioned the word "Summary." I'm sure she'll clear it up, once she reads the thread.
I plan to do a short summary of each chapter, unless she, or someone in the know, indicates something different.

I have a love affair with words. I write, even when I think I can't. I'm hooked on words!

summary question
Still waiting for clarification. Does anyone who has submitted before have a clue?
Is the chapter by chapter outline the summary of choice for Page Turner;
or a paragraphical synopsis?
Thanks,
Lillian

Sorry everyone. Just seeing this now.
A synopsis should be a brief overview of the planned book. Most are about half a page long. Some are shorter, but I would recommend about half a page to a page. It doesn't need to be chapter by chapter, but rather an outline of the goal of the book and how you are planning to get the reader there.
Love, Deb

Oops!
I just sent in my summary, but not in outline form. If it doesn't pass
the goal and reader direction test, any chance of redoing it?
