Thought passage: 2 Chron. 27:2, "And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly."
God had no complaints toward Jotham except, “he entered not into the temple of the LORD.” Despite his righteous living before God this one thing was the main cause for the people to continue to live in sin. As Jotham was leader of the nation, we are leaders to our children. If you want your kids to have the best possible chance not live corrupt lives take them to church when the doors are open.
