Thought Passage: 2 Chron. 14:2-4. "And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God; For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves: And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment."
Here we have a king and his kingdom, a picture of a man and his home. Often Christian parents will give their young children the option of going to church. Often they will allow the child to make spiritual decisions that they are not mature enough to make. Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD and he commanded Judah to seek the LORD. Dads, take spiritual control of the kingdom.
