Thought passage: 2 Chron. 7:14. "If my people. which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
I could encourage Christians to write and call their elected officials. I could encourage Christians to go to town meetings, run for office and be involved in civil activities but this verse reminds us that the healing of America depends on our spiritual condition. Humble yourselves, pray, seek God’s face, turn from your wicked way, and then go get involved.
