The standard was excellent, but three of the top 40 made it to the top. Well done to all the contenders, but our congratulations go to the following three writers: BEST OF THE BEST WINNERS – 20101ST PLACE ($300) No Man’s Land by Ann Grover http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=358942ND PLACE ($100) OH! Heaven Leigh Day by Mona Purvis http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=337023RD PLACE ($75) Ruined by Sheri Gordon http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=33841Ann has been in the Best of the Best awards on at least three other occasions, but this is her first time at the top. No Man's Land was an outstanding piece of writing. Mona's very clever creativity and delightful humor in OH! Heaven Leigh Day pushed her entry through the ranks as well. And Sheri is in exactly the same position she was last year. So close to the top with her brilliant, and gut-wrenching, entry-- Ruined. The standard was so high this year that the three entries that placed immediately after our top three were tied for fourth place. I'll let you know who they were after our three winners enjoy their well deserved moment in the spotlight. Love, Deb

Congrats ladies!
Hmmm I will have to refresh my memory on the winning stories and re-read them later when I can truly enjoy them.
Let's all stand and do the wave now!

A very impressive group of winners indeed! From gripping, to hysterical, to heart-wrenching, each has a different style, a unique message, and each conveys truths that go beyond the stories. And all of this without being 'preachy'
Congratulations!
