Thought Passage: 1 Chron. 16:26, "For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens."
Often people will make gods to themselves. Not necessary with wood or stone but often with their imaginations. “I don’t believe God would send anyone to hell.” “God is a loving God, so He will forgive everyone.” These statements and others like them are not Biblical but people believe them, many claim to be Christians but they have broken the 2nd commandment and made a god to suit themselves.
