I'm stumped on them both.

Not seeing anything unusual, I became irritated and turned toward the two beings. “What is it you want me to see? There’s nothing here!”

AnnRene, these are fine. Exclamation points in dialog--especially in high emotion situations like that--are absolutely fine.
