What is on my mind, Hmm? Wondering at the irony of a drug addict asking for spare charge with track marks on both arms from shooting up dope, and the guy about 5 or 6 feet away, (from a well known discipleship program) asking for donations to help end the drug epidemic in America. Hmm? I wonder how some Christians can talk about changing the world, yet when faced with a real opportunity, it's like they are blind to the need looking straight at them. Sorry, but things like this bother me. Maybee it is because I was once that junky spare changing for dope, but sometimes, I thing even when we are delivered,we tend to forget where we came from. That happened to me once, and I pray it never happens again.
Soon I will be sharing my vision on here, I am in the process of writing it out. To briefly share it now, it is an expansion to our present ministry, namely, the formation of "The King's Fishers Discipleship Training Facility." It will be a place where those coming out of such lifestyles will not only be trained up in the Word of God, but also will have the opportunity to learn a skilled trade. I will share more concerning this when I post it with my other writings.

God Bless,
Richard

Sad, really. Sometimes Christians get so wrapped up in the "rules" of ministry. "Go to the corner, say this and that to raise funds for this and that."

If we walk by the Spirit, he will always lead us into ministry opportunities, divine appointments to share His love and Hope with a hurting world.

I wish there was more training like that... "Go, listen to God and do what he says. See with His eyes, feel with his heart."

Pray for that man who was blind to the hurt right next to him. Maybe he was scared. Maybe God is using this to teach and train him. I hope so.

Your training facility sounds great, btw.
