Risk taking in Freelance 8/31/09

Postby Writetrack » Mon Aug 31, 2009 6:39 am

Maybe you've already dipped your toes into the waters of freelance writing. Maybe you don't have any experience in freelancing and are wondering if the risk of diving in will be worth it. Because, as Glenn states in this week's article,

"Your track record can present a problem because in order to have a track record you need publishing credits. In order to gain publishing credits you need work. In order to get work you need publishing credits. This circle is a quintessential catch 22."

So is it worth the risk?

That's what "Risk Taking in Freelance" looks at. Glenn takes a look at the different risks and what may be required in order to take the plunge. As always, several excellent points are made and wise advice is given.
