Thanks chrisiggee, you are not alone in those feelings. I actually left my resent prayer group because of the unorthodox way they were praying.
I pray full twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening. By full prayer I mean in thanking, praising and repenting sins. During the day I am in constant conversation with the Lord sending up quick prayers and just conversing my thoughts with Him. He is my Father, Lord and Saviour, and I feel save when I speak to Him.
Trust in God and you will have a full and happy life.
