Book Reviews? Curious...

What happened to the book reviews section? It sounds like a good resource but seems to have disappeared.

I was just wondering. Actually, that's a fib. I started a childrens' Bible thingy a while back (it seemed like I was being urged by The Lord to do it), but I don't even know if the idea is feasible, overdone, too beginner-ish, or just Ish! etc.

Since He sent me to Faithwriters, it's been on my mind a lot recently-maybe as an E-book or free for sharing? I was so inspired at the time that I was writing like a maniac every day, even had a pretty complete outline.

Can I get thumbs up/down answers about the idea anywhere here?

Hi Patty,

We got so overloaded with book reviews that I think they are put on hold for now. I know Deb wants to get them started back up again but I'm not sure when that will be. Oh - and 500 members get first priority. That's one of the benefits of being a 500 member. This is yet another great reason to sign up as a 500 member. Plus, the more 500 members we have, the more funds we'll have to allow us to get more people to help get the book reviews rolling again.

Maybe Deb will pop in here and let you know exactly what's going on with the reviews but I think that's the gist of it.

It is alive, and we did make the review request form available again for 500 members only. The volume of requests was absolutely overwhelming, and the number of people available to do reviews is very small.

Once I get all the conference preparations out of the way (nearly done), I'm hoping to get some reviews happening again.

(Honestly, the speed that time is passing this year is quite horrifying.)

Do you two actually HAVE any free time? It seems to me that you are already spending 48-60 hours a day on this site.

I wish! Actually, the rumour has been spread in the past that I am actually a robot or have several clones. Wouldn't mind having a couple of either around to help out.
