These lessons, by one of our most consistent FaithWriters' Challenge Champions, should not be missed. So we're making a permanent home for them here.

I was going to just name "The Fugitive" conflict where Dr. Richard Kimble is falsely accused of murdering his wife, but I can't remember the name of the FBI agent who was obsessed with tracking him down.

So I pulled this one from my General submissions. It's been read quite a bit but I guess the conflict isn't worth commenting about because it only has two gold boxes. Maybe this class will identify why it isn't being commented on.

By the way, Jan, I could have used "Flipper and Dipper and Shay" because the Pirate LaRue won in the end... but that would be a cheap shot.
I had something really memorable to write here but I forgot what it was.

Tim, "One of These Days" had me in stitches--it's definitely Man vs. Man. I almost think it'd work well in Man vs. Supernatural, when we get there--not that there are any ghosts or monsters, but it's almost as if Fate Herself were conspiring against this poor man!

Homework: Name another well-known book, story, movie, or television show that features Man vs. Man conflict.

Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader
Shakespeare's Julius Caesar
My current favorite author, Mo Willems, has a collection of books with Man vs. Pigeon conflict. (Knuffle Bunny rocks!)
Batman vs. Joker in the recent Dark Knight film displayed two characters, each suffering in an Man vs. Society conflict on their own, using the other as their means to working out internal conflict in Man vs. Man conflict. Very nicely done.

Man vs Man Conflict

Hi Jan

I hope man and wife conflict qualifies (me not being sexist).
