If you’re a fan of the TV show “Lost”, then you’re very aware of the power of flashbacks. For the first 3 seasons of that show, every episode featured a pre-crash flashback of one major character. By watching the flashbacks, we understood (a little bit—nothing is ever fully understood on that show) why those characters acted the way they did.

At the end of season 3, there is the first "flash_______" --- is this a clue for next week's lesson?
