In the olden days good tillers of the soil knew to set their sights on a stationary object, such as a fencerow post, to plow a straight row. They knew if they looked down as they walked the row would be crooked when they got to the end. In the same way, as we walk our Christian walk, if we keep our eyes on Jesus, rather than our own mistakes and shortcomings, we'll be much less likely to 'plow a crooked row.' Instead of being sin conscious, be JESUS conscious. Hallelujah!
Holiness in man is the absence of something, holiness in God is the presence of something.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Rev 3:20 KJV
