Thought Passage Col. 3:1-3, "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God."
Our mindset, our "affection: needs to be on heavenly things. We cannot live like Christ if we do not think like Him, if we do not love what He loves. With many people God is an afterthought, someone we go to when we don't know what else to do. He needs to be in the forefront of our thoughts and actions. We cannot correctly think of heavenly things without thinking of Christ.
