Thought Passage: Ezra 7:10, "For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statues and judgments."
Teaching should never be taken lightly. A sermon or Sunday school lesson should not be “whipped up” on Saturday night. The heart and actions of a teacher must be right. A teacher of God’s Word should love the subject matter and his/her students, also a teacher’s testimony should be without question (Ezra’s “and to do it”).
