Thought passage: 2 Chron. 36:20-21. "And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years."
Are you interested in world news? Not every event on the world stage is specifically prophesied in the Bible but everything going on is occurring to bring about one thing: Christ on the throne in Jerusalem. Like chess pieces, God is moving kings and kingdoms to bring about His glory and the final chapter of the book. As Christ said, “Watch.”
