2 Kings 17:15. "And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimomies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they shoudl not do like them."
Christ ate with publicans and sinners but the question still remains, “How close do we get to the lost?” Do we move adjacent to “Thou shalt not” and park there making sure we don’t break direct commandments or is there a line implied closer to the spirit of the law than the letter of the law? Do we fish from the boat, the bank, the pier, standing in the water, or all four?
