1 Kings 6:37-7:1. "And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts therof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in bulding it. But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house."


It took nearly twice as long to build Solomon’s house as the temple. Pastors have lost their kids and/or their wives because of the time they spent building the church while all along neglecting the family. God has called us to be Pastors, but He has also called us to be husbands and fathers. Churches should give their Pastors a day off each week, leave them to the other callings God has given them.
