The Word of God is the sceptre of dominion of the believer as the rod in Moses' hand made him a 'god' to Pharoah in his days. Think about this, that the world of the spirit is governed by words. When one moves from the physical realm to the spiritual, the value of words dramatically changes. Money and similar things may rule in this physical world, but not so in the realm of the spirit. We know, even in this physical world that words can have tremendous effects. But this is only a tip of the iceberg when the spirit realm is what we are dealing with. If we cannot grasp this, we would have difficulty truely understanding why God is putting alot of emphasis on the Word in the Word. Please do remember that when He asks us to be rich in His Word, He is not referring to mere doctrines. When the Word does not bring about a change in character, situation or status of a man, that Word is barren or unfruitful. God is not wanting us to know the Word to take one heavenly exam. The exam of the Word you are studying may be the day the doctor announces that ' it is cancer'. This is the evil day. This is the day when the Word ' by His stripes we are healed' will have to be put to action. Our Father wants to see children who subdue circumstances by the Word not those who memorize scriptures and crash infront of challenges. The Word must be fruitful.
Have you noticed this about the Word? All over the world, there is a burning call and yearning for the Word in the Church. Why? The Spirit that drives the Church in America is the same Spirit in Cameroon or Asia or Canada. He knows kingdom priorities and is drawing the Church towards the sceptre of Her dominion. When the Word has fully left believer's heads to dwell and begin manifesting in their hearts, then the hour for the greater glory is come for the whole creation now to see.
Think of this, that the words which went forth during the days of creation to bring forth all we know today are.... in your heart and your MOUTH NOW! His word is one. The creative words in those days of creation or the promise to Abrahim or the ' be anxious for nothing in Phil4:6' are all the same. They are all the Word, all having the fullness of God in them. When the Church grows in the Word, in understanding and practical application, alot of grumblings and murmurings about God has not done will be cut off. Beloved, what a thought, to know that all things that pertain to life are in the Word. He knows it and pushes us continually to it. Get that Word active in you and begin extending your sceptre of authority over sin, disease, fear, pressures as you act in faith on the Word.
