He Feels What We Feel

Awesome indeed, Chrissy. It's hard for me to imagine that my Lord Jesus FEELS what I feel, but I know it to be true - His Word tells me so. In that I take comfort, and I thank Him. It also brings me sorrow - to know that He didn't have to sink to these emotional depths but that He CHOSE to - He loves me THAT MUCH! That's a LOT!

Knowing that Jesus feels what I feel has helped me SO, so much. Sometimes when I am hurting, I just need to know that someone understands....and He DOES.

I really enjoyed reading this and it brought to my mind once again, that Christ indeed felt and continues to feel, what we feel and in much higher proportions.

I especially needed to read your words..."I think every one of us has experienced one or more of the above in one way or other. I know I have and have been guilty of forgetting to hand everything over to the Father. As a young Christian, I often thought He just wouldn’t understand, but through His Word and experiencing His grace, I now know He does. "
