Carried along by ancient winds, dark clouds move aside, revealing a brilliance too luminous for me to look upon, but gloriously beautiful as its light filters through the many braches of the strong oak tree.
Clouds move once again, blocking the warmth of light.
Today, they are stretches of cotton momentarily blocking the sun.
If only it were like that always - to count on knowing the clouds would be gone, away, in such a short time, to enjoy the basking of sunlight that had only been momentarily interrupted.
Yes, I wish it were so ... but ...
Constant, dependable, unmovable -- an Ever-Presence.
Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble." (NIV)
