Oh wow! Doesn't that make me a double winner. First I get the awesome lesson; and I'm not joking, I did think it was awesome and enjoyed it very much. And then I benefit from a great prize. Jan you are generous beyond words.
The prize I choose is a no-brainer; I pick the critique. It is late at night right now and I'm off on a day trip early tomorrow, so with your permission I'll pick up on this in a day or two. Maybe to make it easy I'll just pick an entry that is already loaded on the site and look forward to what I know will be a great and invaluable learning experience.
Just a thought here; which you can feel free to pick up on or not. If you are going to do the critique work anyway, I would not feel bad about the critique, and my failings, being made public. You could perhaps make it a lesson and we could all benefit from seeing not only how a professional approaches a critique but also learn step by step how to improve our writing. I don't mind being exposed in this manner if we can all benefit from it, and you would not need to feel that you have to hold back; which would be self defeating anyway. Just a thought.
Back in a day or two; blessings, Graham
P.S. This is also a way that everybody can share in the prize.
May we all get eyes to see and ears to hear,
A Revelation of His Word, crystal clear.
Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.
My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Grahamhttp://www.shekinahcloud.com/page/page/8464330.htm
