I think I'm confused. You mentioned Ann's Jots and Titles next door, so I went to Ann's Grammar basics. Saw that she posted on March 4th, but didn't find any replys.

Am I missing something?
Oops, I forgot that she changed the title. Grammar Basics it is.

She was on vacation for a few weeks, and though she's back now, she's got a busier life than I do, and only checks once a day or so. I'm sure she'll respond soon!

Jan,
Yes this was meant you. Since day one, I have got you and Jan mixed up and just don't know why. Think it's the rhyming thing :)

And thank you for the info. I actually want to use fictitious names, just didn't know if it was legal in a nonfiction / true story book.

Anyone else having a problem getting their messages that there had been a new posting on this forum? I've missed out on quite a bit that way even though I have checked "Notify me when a reply is posted".

Just wondering.

In the first 5 minutes:
1. Refiner's Fire
2. hell
3. Tragedy by fire.
4. Ready. Aim. Fire.
5. Fire and Ice (The song)

Out of the box thought:

Menopause and feeling like your body is on fire. Chilled. Then, on fire.
hahaha

Oooh, I've been there! And definitely no on else on this thread thought of it. Good job!

I can't remember what the topic word was, but there was one week some time ago that seemed to prompt quite a few menopausal stories. But for 'fire'--definitely OOTB.

I believe it may have been the "Hot and Cold" topic.

It's no fun working with them people....I'm cold all the time, especially when working at night, with all the effects of a messed up body equilibrium. And they go and turn the thermostat down to 55! Brrr!!!! What are they thinking, seriously? Put some ice on your neck or something....

The horses energy was like a wild fire as her hooves flew across the yellowing grass of fall; the sparks could be seen as she outraced the wind. Nothing could catch her. No man would bridle her. She was free.
