I love this last one! Anyone with little kids will understand completely!

I can't wait to read more of your writing!

Henry, I'd love to see a collection of your poems. I'd read one every day--when my students are driving my nuts--just to give me a nice lovely smile when I need it.

This was utterly charming. (You should enter the Challenge more often...)

It's 2 a.m. Why do I hear a bird chirping outside? Wait, maybe it's a bat. Ewww. Yuck. Do they really have bats around here? What else could it be? Bats stay up all night, I think. What if I was a bat? I could fly everywhere. That sounds like fun. Then again, I'd have to live in a cave. But there aren't any caves around here. Great. I'll end up being a homeless bat flying in the air making noise all night and getting people who aren't sleeping to think about me. Maybe it's really a bird. I should Google birds that chirp at night.

Yes, Seema, we're definitely kindred spirits. That's the sort of thing that runs through my sleepless brain EVERY. STINKIN'. NIGHT.
