Thought I'd run this by you to see if this happens to you!

I have been writing short pieces of inspirational articles (call them words of encouragement or devotionals) for some time now, but when I joined you here at FaithWriters, suddenly I am receiving many inspirations all at once and I'll be in the middle of penning something and a title of another piece will come to me - so I will scribble that one down on a blank piece of paper, and then go back to what I was doing before, and sometimes the ending of the first piece won't come to me until the next day or even days later, and even sometimes I will have several articles unfinished at a time while I write another one which gets finished in one session, oh my goodness what is going on here! Does this happen to you?

Thought I'd share my rather funny experience with you all in keeping with the joy of it all...

My very first EC for the challenge came to me while vacuuming. Because of chronic pain, it is an extra difficult chore. I kept chanting to myself: If I can just keep going and don't stop to think. Suddenly a vision of Christ dragging the cross up the hill came to mind. I dropped the vacuum and scribbled my thoughts down. I have no doubt that vision came from the Holy Spirit. It sounds like he might be inspiring you as well.

That's very interesting! While I am cooking the family's dinner, I quite often have streams of words flying into my mind and I make a quick grab for some scrap paper and start scribbling them down - they come so fast I can barely read back my own writing sometimes. Lol. I do pray always before I write and I believe in asking the Lord first what would He have me say - then I simply pen down what comes to me and can take no credit for that. I'm just being obedient and following orders. Kinda takes the pressure off me to perform because without Him my own words wouldn't be nearly so interesting or of value. I pray first before answering most threads too.
