Praise/Promise/Prayer/Precept - Day 4

Postby trudynewell » Mon Feb 04, 2013 12:43 pm

PRAISE TO PONDER

Exalt the Lord our God,
and worship at His foot stool;
for He is holy. Psalm 99:5

How can we exalt and praise the Lord best this very day?

PROMISE TO PROVE

In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct your paths. Provers 3:6

What is our part in guidance?
What is God's part?

PRAYER TO PRESENT

(Be) swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. James 1:19

Why is it so important to listen carefully.

This is a good prayer to pray today - Lord, help me be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

PRECEPT TO PRACTICE

Finally, brethren,
whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy -
meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8

What does this verse teach us about our thought life?

What kind of things are we to focus on?

God bless your day :D

Hi Trudy,

Thanks for blessing us with these. I know you are amember of the main site too. I suggest posting these on the main site in the regular articles. They would receive a lot more traffic over time. They would also impact people around the world for Christ and every post would have an invitation to accept Christ attached at the end like all of our articles.

Thanks for your membership and God Bless, Michael Edwards
We need God's Grace because of God's Truth.
