If you're someone who thrives on routine when it comes to your writing, this article is for you. This week, Glenn writes his column from somewhere outside of his comfort zone and gives us a few reasons why it's important to getting your muse to come out and play. He goes on to suggest some ways to do it.

Many stories have been told of writers sketching concepts for great literature on a restaurant napkin or scratch of newspaper. Many will carry a small notebook to jot down ideas. The laptop in a coffee shop can be a great place to immerse yourself in a creature comfort while tuning out everything else. The world has yet to realize just how many great ideas were birthed in a wi-fi hot zone.
