Thank you all for your prayers. My friend went to be with the Lord on April 29th. Whenever you can please pray for her husband and 2 little kids. God is faithful!

So sorry to hear this, Dee. Your friend is with the Lord, and you wouldn't want her to come back to suffering, but how very sad for the ones left behind. Praying for her husband, family and friends.

We prayed in faith, but as Chuck Swindoll reminds us: "Prayer is not the purpose of our heart towards God; it is the purpose of God's heart towards us."

"Thy will be done," is our ultimate petition.

This has even greater meaning for me because after years of ignoring the doctor's admonition to follow up on positive test results for prostate cancer, my brother-in-law has been hospitalized with stage 4 metastatic cancer.

I'm so sorry. I'm praying for your friend's husband and children. May God carry them through this painful trial.
