Earnestly Need Your Prayers

Postby amilli » Thu Jan 02, 2014 4:16 pm

I am one to go the prayer journey alone, but I do believe that occassionally we have to call upon our brothers & sisters in Christ when we need help.

I need your help in praying for a job and a husband!

My story is long & complicated...but just know that this is not an overnight want. In fact, prayers have been going up for years. I know God knows all things best...but I also know that prayer changes things. That's why I need your help.

Father God I ask you to give Amelia the desires of her heart a believing husband and a job where she can edify and glorify you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Amelia, I'm praying that God would bless you with a job where you can bless others and that would be a blessing to you too. Also praying that you would be given a godly husband. It's so hard when years go by and our longings go on unfulfilled. May you experience God's peace that passes understanding.

Dear Amelia,

God knows your heart and your needs. I don't know what His will is for you, but I pray that His will be done, and that His promises to supply all of our needs will be a reality in your life.

When you indicated that "prayers have been going up for years," one verse popped into my thoughts.

"Thrice I asked the Lord about this, to have it removed from me, and He told me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for MY strength comes to perfection where there is weakness" (2 Cor. 12:8,9).

I pray that you will not resist His grace, but rest in it, knowing that your Heavenly Father always has your BEST interest in mind; whatever that might be.

Blessings,

Lillian

Dear Jesus wrap your arms around Amelia and grant her a sense of peace. It's hard for us at times because we want things on our time table but remind us how wonderful things turn out when we wait for your timing. Thank you for family and friends who love us through the hard times. Thank you most of all for sending Jesus to us. With his help we know all things are possible. Amen

I pray God's will be done in your life concerning both issues. May God open doors needed and close doors if needed, to bring you to the perfect in both work and relationship.

Amelia, your prayer request touched my heart in so many ways. I pray to the Heavenly Father that He gives you the desires of your heart, and if you trust Him, I know without a doubt your prayers will be answered.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Just know God is in control, and when the time is right, the answer will come. Keep the faith girl.

Blessings, Lynn

You've probably heard that about the time you stop looking for a husband, he will find you. Just a thought. As for a job, it has always helped me to seek where I could be the most blessing to others and make myself valuable to them. I'm praying that God will open the doors of opportunity to you and fill you with His peace. Try to find contentment in your present circumstances, trust Him and pray. I don't mean to make it sound so easy. I know it is tough. But you are tougher. With His love,
Sheldon
