Shann's hospitalization

Postby jerseygirl » Wed Feb 13, 2013 10:15 pm

Hi all, I just got an e-mail from Shann who has really been in a lot of pain these last couple of weeks. She has like a chronic shingles condition and it is worse than normal and also has the sleep apnea. She is in the ER right now and waiting to be moved up to a room. Dear Lord, we offer up our sister's pain right now to you Lord and ask for You to put Your soothing balm on her body and also to come into where she is right now and help her to know Your calming presence. She is so faithful to all of us here, reading our writings and takes so much time out to help, let us remember her in her time of need. Thank you Lord, we humbly pray.

Thank you all. 2012 was the first year in 25 years were I didn't have to be admitted so that's a good thing.

Wasn't your surgery today?

Shann, I love you! My heart goes out to you... You are so brave. I know you just want to be done with this whole thing. Our precious Lord Jesus is there lifting you up, lean on Him. I know it just feels about impossible to do when you are hurting so bad but that is the time that you can be the closest to Him because of what He experienced for us. He reaches out to us in our pain like no other time, is what I have found. I pray you are sensing His peace amidst your pain; His joy amongst your sorrow. I am in prayer - battle - mode for you Shann, and asking the Lord to sustain you. Thanks for keeping us up to date, it is great hearing from you, but just rest if you need to. The most important thing is for you to put all your energy into getting well. Love and super hugs, Alicia

Oh, Shann, so sorry to hear. Physical pain is one of the hardest crosses God often asks us to carry. I pray He'll be right there with you to share the load. He knows, He understands and cares.

And I pray that whatever treatment you receive will be used by our loving Lord to bring the relief you need.

Much love,
Lillian

You are a brave women of God. You have inspired so many people, including me to keep on keeping on with my writing no matter what. I have a deep respect for you, and I pray that those angels are watching and protecting you, and also Jesus with you giving you strength, comfort from the pain, and healing of your body, in His holy name. Amen.
